HYLAN RESIDENCE

The consumers at the Hylan Residence decided to take a boat ride on Manhattan’s Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise in order to enjoy the best views of the New York City skyline. The night before they were to take their cruise, they packed their lunches. They left the house bright and early that Saturday morning; loaded up their house van and set off on their adventure along with two AVSP staff members. They were all very excited about the trip!

They crossed the Verrazano Bridge and went all the way through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel and then along the West Side Highway. From the highway, they could see Manhattan’s financial district and the piers that run along the highway. It was a beautiful sight to see. They drove all the way to the dock for the Circle Line Sightseeing Cruise at 42nd street in Manhattan.

The residents were all able to get a discounted group rate for their cruise. While on the boat, they were able to take many pictures of the New York City skyline and bridges. Everyone had a great time, and they hope to do it again some time in the near future.
