Holiday Wreath For Home & Giving
Its the most wonderful time of the year, time once
again for snowflakes, holiday decorations and gift giving!
A creative gift that captures the true essence of the
season is a snowman wreath. You can make one quite easily
for your own home decor, or to give as a present, by following
these easy steps:
|
 |
Find
2 small tree branches that will be used for the snowmans
arms. You can locate these in your yard, or take a leisurely
walk around your neighborhood to find them.
You
will need the following supplies which can be purchased
at any craft store:
3 green wreaths (8 inch, 12 inch and 16 inches in diameter),
a metal hook for a door,
green pipe cleaners,
winter hat,
scarf and a pair of mittens.

|
 |
Line up the wreaths starting with the smallest wreath
on top for the snowmans head, then the medium sized
wreath followed by the large wreath. Using pipe cleaners,
secure the 3 wreaths together, and this will create the
snowmans body.

|
 |
Take
the 2 branches and attach to the medium sized wreath as
arms. Use the pipe cleaners to secure the arms on to the
body.

|
 |
Attach
a hat, scarf and pair of mittens to the snowman to add
to the decoration. These can be attached 1 of 2 ways:

a glue gun can be used to keep these articles in
place
or
the items can just be placed on to the wreaths using the
pipe cleaners.
This
project is a simple and fun way to get into the holiday
spirit. It can brighten up any front door and make a jolly,
inexpensive gift for someone.
