Supported Employment Support Group
Employment Training Alternatives Supported Work program offers a support group for individuals enrolled in the program who are currently employed. This support group assists consumers to resolve job-related problems. Only individuals who are enrolled in the Employment Training Alternatives Supported Work program are eligible. This support group usually meets on Tuesday evenings from 6–7pm.

Family Reimbursement
During the months of September and April, Family Reimbursement applications are accepted. Reimbursement awards for September applications are distributed to consumers and families in November, and April application awards are distributed in June.

Rights and Responsibilities
Every year in January all consumer and families and primary care providers receive a copy of “Rights and Responsibilities of Persons Receiving Services.” The distribution is completed after each consumer has an opportunity to review the document with a designated staff person in the consumer’s program and/or residence. The information is a valuable resource for consumers, families, care providers, and agency staff to understand the philosophy and commitment of AVSP.
