Memorial gifts are an excellent way to do good works and remember friends, colleagues and loved ones. You can make a memorial contribution to AVSP by sending a note along with your check indicating whom the gift is in memory of and the name and address of a family representative of the honoree. We will notify the family that a gift has been received from you in memory of their loved one.

Increase the value of your donations. Your charitable contributions to AVSP could double or even triple in value if your employer has a matching gift program. Applying for matching gifts is as easy as 1,2,3. Simply fill out a matching gift application and include it with your contribution to AVSP. We will provide information about the Agency and return it to your matching gift center for review. Once we are approved for matching funds you'll be notified that your employer made a gift to us on your behalf. Contact your human resources office to see if your employer has a matching gift program. It's a trouble-free way to enhance the value of your charitable contributions.

A Very Special Place, Inc. is registered with the New York State Office of Charities Registration and has received a 501(c)(3) tax determination status from the Internal Revenue Service as a non-profit agency. Contributions received by AVSP are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed under state and federal laws.
